What?! They have the violin at my school I even play it.
What? Violin and flute music look exactly the same except for bowing versus
breath markings, and for the fact that the ranges are not *exactly* the
same. But they both use treble cleff and have very similar ranges. Also,
this is not a particularly difficult key – for flute OR violin. (If you
were trying to transpose because you thought violin music was supposed to
be different than flute, you should try again. Don’t make it harder on
yourself than it is!)
