Reports state that Rihanna planned to experience a free gig in Baltimore every week after rioting broke out inside the US city, with all the star meaning to walk with protesters.

New emails obtained with the Baltimore Sun claim that the singer needed to perform in Baltimore on May 1, but was prevented because of the failure to secure a permit for your public show.

Representatives of Rihanna allegedly requested “extra police security”, on the grounds that she “will be arriving by plane along with an effort to divert press/media she’s going to be visiting the city by train (or by car as appropriate)”.

It is usually recommended that police could have stopped any attempt for holding a show. The representative for Rihanna identified inside emails failed to respond to a ask for comment.

Instead, Prince played a show in Baltimore on May 10 and performed a song he wrote regarding the unrest in Baltimore.

Confrontations within the US city began pursuing the funeral of African-American man, Freddie Gray, on April 27. Gray, 25, was fatally injured whilst in police custody on April 19 after weekly-long coma.

At any time, Rihanna posted a picture of a tearful black riot cop on Instagram. See the post below.
