DJ Ashba has confirmed which he has quit Guns N’ Roses.

The guitarist has messed around with the band going back six years after joining during 2009. He confirmed what is this great in a hand-written letter posted on his official website and explained he will spend his time is targeted on his own band Sixx:A.M.

The note reads: “It is to use a very heavy heart but great pride that I announce that I’ve chose to close this chapter of my entire life and encapsulate the wonderful times that I’ve given to Guns N’Roses into fond memories”.

Ashba also had time out to pay special tribute to his Guns N’ Roses frontman: “I wish to take a moment saying thanks to Axl [Rose] in the bottom of my heart for not just the most incredible experience of my well being, nevertheless for truly believing inside me. You are a true friend as well as a champion of mine and I am forever grateful. And even as I proceed to pursue other endeavors, I will always remain each of your biggest fans.”

Earlier this month (July), fellow guitarist Richard Fortus threw doubt within the future of Guns N’ Roses, saying he hasn’t heard news on this guitar rock band for some time.

The guitarist continues to be part of Guns N’ Roses since 2001, producing the longest serving ‘new line-up’ guitarist in this rock band. He commented on this guitar rock band’s current status reacting to a question about intentions to tour and record in 2016.

“The current state of GN’R is fairly up inside air,” he explained to RockAbout.com. “The last I heard they needed to finish up the recordings that individuals have and hang up them out buy and start touring. But it may be a while since I’ve have been told by anybody in this camp so far as management or Axl. So I really do not know.”

Only recently, Fortus brought up Guns N’ Roses having enough material to produce up 2 or 3 new albums, while in April the now departed Ashba said this rock band are on a short-term hiatus.
